Group Lead

At a Glance:
Due to a propelling growth in our direct-to-consumer business, we are looking for a Group Lead for the Social Happiness Delivery Team in Zurich or Berlin. As a group lead you will be the go-to person for our social engagement team that interacts daily with On’s social communities on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Strava. You will lead and manage our social engagement team which is based in two locations, Zurich and Berlin. You support your team in the daily business by guiding them towards creative engagement opportunities and solution-oriented ways of working. This dynamic and multifaceted position is for someone who is passionate about social media and is an inspiring leader.

Your Mission:

- You support the Social Happiness Delivery team with daily business by coaching them on creative engagement opportunities and solution-oriented ways of working in a fast paced and highly demanding environment
- You monitor social analytics within our social media platforms and social media management tool (Sprout Social) while working with your team to continuously drive quality improvements as well as taking action to bring your team members closer to their goals and ensuring On’s brand narrative is consistently communicated across all channels
- You work closely with our team in the US and with various other stakeholders (Social Coach, Platform Lead, Content Team) to lead cross-functional projects, align on efforts from a publishing and engagement perspective, and keep up to date about campaigns and launches
- You drive clear communication and facilitate sharing of information during weekly team meetings
- You foster a candid feedback culture within the team by sharing feedback and improvement opportunities with team members whilst also being open to receive feedback and translate those inputs into actions

Your Story:

- You bring a minimum of 1-2 years of leadership experience managing a team. You are an effective communicator with an inspiring leadership personality and bring excellent interpersonal skills. You focus on relationship building and bringing your team members closer to their goals
- You are business fluent in English (verbally and written). German is a plus.
- You bring 1-2 years hands-on experience in social community engagement with a background in social media or communications. You have an in-depth understanding of social media channels, content formats, and you are on top of the latest social trends.
- You are skilled in social media tools (Sprout). Knowledge in ERP and CRM systems (D365 and SF 2.0) is a plus
- You have proven ability to work in a demanding, entrepreneurial, fast changing environment with a lot of freedom and responsibility
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, previous experience in copywriting is a plus
