- You’ll be recognised as a leader in software engineering, as you lead the wider participation in internal and industry wide events, conferences and other activities

**What you'll do**

You’ll have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills as you manage the technical delivery of one or more software engineering teams, overseeing the quality of their work and making sure it meets the required technical standards.

You’ll also be responsible for:

- Own and maintain the Additiv Platform technical road map with the right architecture, solutions & manages the business leaders and business product owners; while optimising and achieving the agreed targets for the cycle time, risk & cost profiles of the Platform.
- Be accountable for the technical architecture and design of the platform and the alignment to domains and enterprise roadmaps.
- Own the remediation of technical issues and the simplification and improvement of the platform architecture and technology

**The skills you'll need**

We’re looking for a technically skilled and innovative professional with a minimum of 8 years working experience in software engineering activities. A solid background in the Microsoft technology stack and good understanding of cloud-based architecture is a strong advantage.

You’ll come with a background in software engineering, software or database design and architecture, as well as significant experience developing software within an SOA or micro-services paradigm.

Along with development experience in one or more programming languages, you’ll bring an excellent understanding of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, availability and performance.

You’ll also need:

- Solid skills in the Microsoft technology with CoreNet, MS SQL, Web framework, Jenkins, Ansible, Splunk, MSSQL, Gitlab, OpenShift containers
- Deep understanding of cloud-based architectures, microservices, containerization and distributed systems
- A strong background in leading software development teams in a matrix structure, introducing and executing technical strategies
- Previous experience Know-how on DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Very good command of English and excellent communication skills.
