Job Description

The Private Credit Solutions team is a fast growing and dynamic team within LGT Capital Partners that invests in private credit strategies globally across direct/co-investments, secondaries and primary fund investments.

The Private Credit Solutions team is a separate dedicated team within the firm that leverages insights, relationships, market coverage, tools and processes from LGT Capital Partners’ wider private markets platform. The team invests across a broad range of different credit sub-strategies to find the most compelling risk adjusted returns for our investors.

The role is based in London (United Kingdom) or Pfaeffikon (Switzerland).

Main Responsibilities- We are looking for an Associate to join the Private Credit Solutions team in Switzerland or in London;- As an Associate, you will be involved in the sourcing, underwriting, execution and monitoring of private credit investments (directs/co-investments, secondaries and primary fund investments);- As part of the role, you will interact with the private credit investment team across offices and will contribute to building the Private Credit Solutions business;- The role offers the opportunity to learn and deploy investment expertise across a wide variety of private credit strategies such as direct lending, subordinated debt, specialty finance, ABS, distressed debt, special situations investing and structured credit. The team invests globally.

**Requirements**:- 3-5 years of relevant experience in asset management, leveraged finance or investment banking;- Strong financial skills and experience in credit underwriting and/or fund selection;- Strong analytical and modelling skills, including ability to work with sizeable data sets efficiently;- Good interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills in English - other languages are a plus.
