**Group Public Reporting Manager**:

In this role you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring a true and fair view of financial data provided to all stakeholders of ABB in compliance with the ABB Accounting and Reporting Guidelines, as well as other relevant instructions. You will be instrumental in establishing and coordinating group reporting and consolidation processes to facilitate timely and accurate preparation of group reporting in line with the latest regulatory requirements. You will be reporting to the Head of Public Reporting.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead the design and implementation of our future reporting enhancements.
- Lead the development and training of team members to expand the technical capabilities of the team.
- Lead and implement group-wide training presentations covering critical or new reporting topics to help improve the quality of reporting at ABB.
- Lead the interaction with Investor Relations in terms of the quarterly financial disclosure process including agreements on wording of disclosures and accuracy of financial information used.
- Direct interaction with external auditor firm to ensure that all requirements for financial reporting have been provided. Addressing auditor comments and making changes when appropriate to our financial reporting based on these comments.
- Design and implement changes as needed to our reporting process including structure within the Group’s financial reporting tool.
- Detailed review of any disclosure made by ABB to the public including: quarterly financial information, annual report, investor presentations, press releases, other external presentations, bond rating agency reports, prospectus documents and any other disclosure of financial data provided to the public
- Preparation of financial disclosures, especially focusing on new disclosures which require new drafting based on new regulations or new transactions.
- Review and challenge the structure of ABB’s reporting package to ensure completeness of data.
- Perform detailed analysis of reporting prepared by local reporting units to assess completeness and accuracy of key reporting parameters.
- Detailed English grammar and formatting review of all public documents ensuring that all style and formatting requirements are met and that the English grammar has been accurately used.

**Your background**:

- Minimum 13 years of public company auditing experience, preferably from a Big4 environment
- U.S. CPA
- Direct experience in review and preparation of capital markets documents including annual reports and prospectus documents.
- English native speaker
- Practical experience in drafting U.S. public company disclosures including financial statement notes and management discussion and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial statement account relationships.
- Strong business skills with high level of understanding of critical business transactions.
