**Your responsibilities**:

- Be a strategic partner in terms of development of the sustainability reporting landscape towards our internal business stakeholders developing the KPIs and related reporting for the Group.
- Understand the external market developments and regulatory developments in the integrated report field in order to respond to the requirements effectively, enabling eg sustainability KPI linked funding for the group.
- Lead the virtual team responsible for the analysis and interpretation of new ESG accounting and reporting requirements. Drive the detailed impact analysis of these requirements and liaise with partners to understand both technical, process and control impacts.
- Manage the design, creation and maintenance of a library of ESG disclosures, including the reporting requirements, methodology and the data sources for the disclosures.
- Establish and ensure a controlled data flow for all ESG disclosures.
- Use your deep accounting and reporting knowledge to review and challenge ESG disclosures
- Develop and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders both within CFO and across business areas and other corporate functions outside the CFO group.
- Design and help implement the Group’s ESG Reporting Controls Framework. This includes educating stakeholders on controls and working with them to identify and document front to back controls on their ESG reporting.
- Design the governance over CFO related ESG Reporting and represent CFO on various internal and/or external ESG governance forums.

**Your background**:

- Masters level degree in Sustainability or Finance and Accounting or Business Administration. Professional certification from recognized accounting and/or ESG designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years post qualification experience within Sustainability reporting, Public reporting, Internal controls or a Big 4 accounting firm.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting, reporting and controls with genuine enthusiasm and ability for researching and solving accounting, reporting and operational issues is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to identify, understand and research complex issues/risks. Develop solutions that resolve issues and mitigate risks.
- Proven significant experience in the field of ESG Reporting in a company with similar size, scope and complexity
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Able to take complex ESG reporting requirements and explain them in everyday language and build positive relationships with internal clients in different locations to understand and address their needs.
- Change management experience, project leadership skills with ability and experience of driving projects, delivering end to end.
- Outgoing and engaging in interpersonal style with the ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with personnel at all organizational levels including those outside of the sustainability and finance functions.
