Assistant Scientist, Organic Chemistry & Data Science

**Work Location**: Satigny (Geneva), Switzerland

**Key Responsibilities**:
Perform multistep syntheses in the field of Fragrance Chemistry

Isolate/purify final products using methods such as extraction, distillation, crystallization and flash column chromatography
Integrate automated retrosynthetic tools into new ingredients workflow
Develop & deploy advanced data management tools
Meet high environmental and safety standards

**We value**:
MSc in Synthetic Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with practical experiences in synthetic organic chemistry and strong experience in data science and programming (Python, SQL) is must.

Industrial Internship experience in area of organic chemistry and/or data science is a plus.

Passion for chemical innovation and big data

Capacity to work independently and to efficiently use data to convert ideas into new molecules.

Curious, open-minded with excellent communication skills and team-player spirit.

Fluent in English, proficiency in French is a plus.
