As a successful applicant, you will join our **Science and Research Analytical Sciences Group in Geneva**. You will be involved in all practical and organizational aspects of a research laboratory dedicated to the development of new analytical methods and strategies, from sample preparation to data processing, with a focus on **Naturals and Tonality Excellence.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Independently **plan, prioritize and execute** experiments based on instructions provided by the Scientist in charge, aiming to build solid knowledge and answer prominent questions.
- Deliver reliable **results** on time, on scope and with fit-for-purpose quality.
- Manage the technical aspects of scientific projects, with the ability to **take initiatives **and propose alternative approaches.
- Identify technical issues and actively **propose solutions.**:

- ** Report** work progress in a laboratory notebook, technical reports and during project review meetings.
- Participate to the **maintenance** of the laboratory and the instruments.
- Actively contribute to the global **safety, health and environment protection **in the team and beyond.

**You Bring**:

- M.Sc. in **Chemistry **or** Food Science**, B.Sc. with at least 5 years of experience, or CFC with at least 10 years of professional experience, preferably in the Flavors & Fragrances industry.
- Solid **practical** and **theoretical background** in Analytical Chemistry (sample preparation and **separation science,** GCMS, LCMS) and ideally in Food science.
- ** Creativity**, open-mindedness, **team spirit** and problem solver attitude.
- Experience and theoretical background in **statistics** and **advanced data processing** is an asset.
- Experience in fields such as **volatiles** and **non-volatiles **quantification/identification**, **and curiosity for natural raw materials (authenticity, manufacturing processes) would be a plus
- Good knowledge of English (oral and written) is mandatory.
