As a “**CoC Customs Lead**”, you will be leading the Center of Competence for Customs in Switzerland (team of 5 people). As the Internal and External Single Point of Contact, you will oversee all strategic customs related matters (Customs authorities, Vet Authorities, Reserve Suisse etc / Internal Factories / Finance / SC etc) **A Day in the Life of a CoC Customs Lead** - Lead the external customs strategy of Nestlé in Switzerland vis à vis the Swiss Customs Administration - Lead and conduct audits to determine export/import compliance and implement improvement projects - Lead initiatives for duty reduction opportunities on Customs Rulings - Develop and implement risk assessments/gap analysis on International Trade issues - Track performance of Customs service providers (Customs Brokers), compliance programs and savings opportunities through KPI's for monthly reporting - Research and provide technical assistance in interpretation of laws/regulations, product description, harmonized tariff codes, country of origin and for the resolution of all import/export compliance issues for Nestlé Switzerland. **What will make you successful** - Strong expertise with Swiss customs duties and taxes and international trade regulations. - Extensive "hands-on" cross-border working experience, including strong connections with regulatory authorities in key region/specific countries - Experience coordinating and participating in import/export audits - Knowledge of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) System and Dutax (or other specific Customs software). - Strong and up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations for CH - Working proficiency in French, German and English At Nestlé, we want to help shape a better and healthier world, inspire people to live healthier lives and deliver impact at a scale and pace that makes a difference.
