Product Manager Assistant Natural Language

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in product management with technical products
- Experience driving elements of the product development lifecycle such as product vision, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, and product launch
- Experience working with cross-functional (e.g., Engineering, UX/UI, Program Management, etc.) teams

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience creating Natural Language Processing driven software products
- Experience driving and working Data Science/Machine Learning teams
- Experience effectively working with multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Finance, or Marketing
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
- Passion for languages, linguistics, and Natural Language Processing

Google Assistant helps users get things done using natural language. Natural Language Processing powers Google Assistant by understanding what the user means when they say something, figures out how to satisfy the user’s request, and generates a response.

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. **Responsibilities**:

- Own key areas for Natural Language Processing (e..g. Google Assistant Answers and Speech/Natural Language Processing quality).
- Set the vision, drive the overall effort, design, with User Experience User Interfaces for users to recover from errors, and identify and prioritize headroom.
- Work collaboratively with a set of engineers, research scientists, linguists, UX designers and researchers, and policy to build a delightful high quality experience for Google Assistant users.
- Understand markets and user requirements in depth.
- Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.
