The Country Business Lead (CBL) will be responsible to achieve the business objectives of their geography. They will be responsible for managing the sales and marketing P&L, securing market access for new and marketed medicines, and leading the overall launch of the customer's product in the given region. The CBL will be expected to create the country's commercial strategy, deliver its tactical execution, and ensure drug availability and access for their geography in order to deliver on the product's sales targets. As part of driving demand, the CBL will build long-term relationships with targeted treatment centers and stakeholders including but not limited to medical oncologists, nurses, and ophthalmologists.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop strategic plans for your country/countries of responsibility that will deliver agreed sales targets. The plan will outline critical success factors and strategic initiatives from which tactical plans will be derived and executed
- Monitor performance to KPIs as per Syneos Health and customer agreement
- Develop and manage annual budgets to support the country plan
- Navigate complex national, regional and local healthcare environments and appropriately influence policy and funding to enable access and rapid availability of the product for eligible patients
- Ensure best practices and support the broader European CBL team through regular contact and insight sharing with other CBLs
- Work collaboratively with the regional Medical Science Liaison to deliver the product to eligible patients
- Contribute and document interactions through a CRM system
- Understand, respect and abide by all local rules and regulations pertaining to pursuing pharmaceutical activities

**Job Requirements**
- Educated to Degree Level (BSc) minimum, MSc, desirable
- Full Valid Driving License
- Extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Sales, Account Management or Healthcare Development Management at a National or Regional Level
- Thorough understanding of the National Healthcare System in the relevant countries of responsibility
- Experience in dealing with market access and payors in the geographic area
- Experience leading the execution of national advisory boards
- Track record of performance and delivery to sales and market share goals
- Experience in the launch and commercialisation of Oncology therapeutic drugs in the geography
