About the team you are joining

IATA provides the aviation industry with a range of solutions which help airlines, GDS’s, airports and other industry players manage ticket pricing, collection and verification of charges based on legacy systems and processes. These solutions are used by airlines to optimize revenue and minimize costs. As the industry modernizes and moves away from these legacy process and systems, there is a need for solutions to automate the management of charges minimizing costs and optimizing operations.

Reporting to the Product Manager Financial Charges Solutions you will be responsible for managing a project to collect critical airport operational information which will help airlines optimize their passenger ticketing and flight operations. You will also provide day to day operational support for the products in the portfolio.

What your day would be like

As the Intern Compliance and Financial Charges, you will be responsible for:

- Supporting the launch and promotion of the MCT platform, including the operations and activities of the Minimum Connect Times (MCT) initiative, including:

- Data collection/input/processing/distribution
- Regional campaign support
- Communication with industry stakeholders regarding participation and data collection
- Analysis and alignment of procedures with business practices
- Developing the standard operating procedure for the ongoing operations of MCT data
- Supporting the team in the day-to-day operations across the products in the Financial Charges Solutions portfolio

We would love to hear from you if
- Recently (within 1 year) graduated from a University with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field, such as Operations Management, Business, or Technology;
- Project Management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) and power BI;
- Experience of data management
- Team-oriented personality
- Ability to work in a multicultural team environment
- Customer orientated
- Excellent English writing and oral skills.
