**Purchase to Pay Process Manager (Global)**:

Provide management and leadership for a harmonized set of solutions and P2P end-to end processes in the GBS Finance centers globally to drive ABB’s vision of a world class GBS Finance. Motivate team members to work together to standardize, harmonize and optimize the current Purchase to Pay process. Drive definition of standards, policies, training, and adoption in the respective area of responsibility. The service line manager ‘perform closing activities’ will be responsible to define and drive activities in the respective service line which includes the following processes: - AP Aging - GR/IR - Accrual process - AP Health check & internal controls related to AP processes

**This position reports to**:
Group Finance Process Owner

**Your responsibilities**:

- Provide process expertise for the design of AP aging, GR/IR and the accrual process.
- Represent GBS Finance in the ABB Way Finance Transformation Project and ensure GBS activities are performed with quality and on time, for design, implementation and go live.
- Be a change agent for GBS Finance globally to adopt these processes in the standard agreed way including trainings for GBS as well as key stakeholders.
- Build Q&A’s and content for self-help ensuring an easy to use and understanding of the process & policy.
- Ensure standard internal controls on GR/IR and AP aging work as designed, are adopted everywhere, and support the design of updates and or new standard controls.
- Drive a cultural change towards standardization and user centricity.

**Your background**:

- 10+ years’ experience in AP processes in a multinational company with knowledge in area of invoice receipt, invoice processing, exception management, transactional tax, withholding tax and month end processes such as GR/IR, AP aging and accruals.
- Experience in GR/IR and AP aging process.
- Very good SAP knowledge (FI-CO modules required), MM is a nice extra.
- Structured way of working to ensure projects deliverables are timely met.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of Accounting standards.
- Experience with Internal Control over Financial Reporting processes and internal control procedures.
- Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to build effective working relationships with all stakeholders
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to drive change.
- Influencing skills: create appetite for simplifications and willingness to change
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Good at networking (finding the right people in the organization).
- Communication skills: present and report activities in a clear and effective way, sensitive to communication steps related to all levels of stakeholders.
- Problem solving skills, systematic approach to a problem, understanding consequences in a systemic manner.
