**Job Description**:
As Avaloq’s Public Relations (PR) Manager you would be responsible for our global PR activities, targeting media in key regions, our clients (primarily banks and wealth managers), and other internal as well as external stakeholders.

You would become part of Avaloq’s international Marketing & Communications department - a diverse and dynamic group of professionals who all share the passion to shape the digital transformation of the financial industry.

Your mission
- Define and execute a highly efficient PR strategy to support Avaloq’s market positioning as a leading wealth management technology provider
- Foster a constant dialogue with target media to position Avaloq’s thought leadership in the industry as well as our client success stories
- Manage an international network of PR agencies in key regions to generate strong media coverage for Avaloq and its designated spokespersons
- Drive an active newsroom approach within the Marketing & Communications team to build and maintain a strong content pipeline for PR purposes
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify relevant PR topics and potential media opportunities

**Qualifications**:
What you need
- Higher education in Marketing and/or Communications, or in related fields
- 5+ years of experience in financial journalism and/or in an international business environment, preferably in the banking/finance industry, in the IT/software sector or in agencies/consultancy
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English, German being a big plus
- Professional copywriting ability with an in-depth knowledge of the financial industry and technological trends
- Profound experience in corporate communications and issue management
- Well versed in creating high-quality concepts and successfully executing projects
- Accustomed to dealing with and advising senior executives
- A deep interest in the digitalization of wealth management and trends in financial technologies

We offer high flexibility in regards to working models (e.g. part time and home office models are possible depending on business requirements). Our base salaries are competitive and if you prove to be a superstar, you might even be entitled to an extraordinary achievement reward. Avaloq aims to share its success with all its employees by paying out “Success Share Units” depending on its performance in a given year.
