**Vacancy**:Accounting & Controlling Manager - Asset Management (f/m/x)**:

- We are looking for an **Accounting & Controlling Manager** for our client, a successful company specialized in **Funds & Asset Management **based in Zürich. For this position, the employee in question will work directly for our client. Despite the Covid-19 situation, our customer is currently looking for motivated employees (f/m/x). **Your Responsibilities as** **Accounting & Controlling Manager - Asset Management (f/m/x)**
- The mission for the Accounting and Controlling Manager is preparation, controlling and the timely reporting of results of operations for executive management and the BoD. Furthermore, the mission is to maintain governance to ensure optimal deployment, use, and protection of company assets.
- The Accounting and Controlling Manager has responsibilities over a variety of aspects of the company accounts including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets. This includes all Group entities.
- The Accounting and Controlling Manager will perform month-end close, controlling, and financial reporting.
- Performing accounting related tasks including general ledger accounting, monthly close including controlling, and financial audits in compliance
- Review and control revenue recognition and capitalization of development costs
- Maintain, and execute accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported.
- Prepare and settle VAT and taxes in a timely manner.
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
- Identify insights to inform optimal business decisions and financial planning.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

**Your Qualification and Skills**
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in small to mid-cap companies
- Experience with revenue deferral and recognition
- Strong systems skills, including advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience in funds & asset management would be an advantage
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to forge and manage collaborative and fiduciary relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solves problems effectively, result and goal oriented problem-solving problems skills seeing every challenge as an opportunity for innovation and success
- Highest standards of ethics and integrity
- Working already in Switzerland with a Swiss Work Permit
