The Legal & Regulatory team is responsible for all legal and regulatory matters related to the operations, services and businesses of SIX. Our teams closely collaborate with the operational units on day-to-day related matters, create and update contractual templates, negotiate with clients and partners, contribute legal advice in respect of M&A and other transactions, deal with HR and Intellectual Property related topics, manage litigations of the group and act as point of contact for supervisory authorities globally. This wide range of legal topics requires members that are open minded, interested to understand the several business areas of the group, and willing to accept the challenge of regularly leaving the personal comfort zone. Co-operation with other team members in Zurich, Spain, France and the UK is key for us.

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join this team in a leadership role as Head Legal, Financial Information, reporting to the Head Legal Business SIX, with a main focus on advising the Business Unit Financial Information (BFI), leading a team of three Senior Legal Counsels located in Switzerland, France and the UK and working closely with international stakeholders in several countries.

**What You Will Do**:

- leading the Legal Financial Information team
- as Business Partner to BFI you support the growth agenda in a dynamic and changing market[BMM1], including dealing with and advising on complex legal issues regarding data licensing and commercial aspects worldwide
- draft, review and negotiate customer, supplier and partner agreements regarding licensing and distribution of financial information and related services
- active contribution to BFI and group projects, advisory on new products/services
- close collaboration with internal stakeholders in SIX companies and other corporate functions as Risk, Compliance and Finance
- maintain and further develop contacts and networks with competent authorities
- manage external lawyers/legal advisors

**What You Bring**:

- mLaw (Swiss, UK or EU), Bar exam is a plus
- minimum of 3 years experience in legal advisory in the financial information industry
- solid leadership experience
- flexible team player personality, interpersonal skills and willingness to implement change, hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented approach
- strong oral and written English skills, with German/French/Spanish or other languages being a plus
