Network Support Technician

The tasks to be completed on Wednesday, March 9 are as follows:
1) Work with James McDonald (AIT)

2) Rack temporary switch in new location

3) Connect fiber SFP to temp switch in new location

4) Connect fiber to old switch stack and new temp switch

5) Connect patch cables

6) Test connectivity

The tasks to be completed on Friday, March 25 are as follows:
1) Disconnect patch cables from switch stack (switch #1 and #5)

2) Disconnect Palo firewall (device #4)

3) Remove switches and firewall from rack (devices 1,4 and 5) and move to new location

4) Restack switches and firewall in new location

5) Connect Internet to new switch stack and firewall

6) Patch cables to new switch stack (reuse original patch cables)

7) Move patch cables from temporary switch in new location to new switch stack

8) Disconnect and unrack temporary switch

Technician should come prepared with the following for both visits:
**Required tools**:
Laptop with Putty installed

Console cable to connect to Cisco and Palo Alto equipment

Cisco IOS knowledge

Internet connectivity (data card or tethered to mobile phone)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: CHF205.00 - CHF260.00 per day
