Chief of Staff

**About the job**:
This is a unique opportunity for an individual with senior leadership aspirations to get exposure to a broad array of business issues and deliver value to the organization across our spectrum of activities.

The Chief of Staff will support the Chief Executive Officer, serving as liaison between the CEO and other key stakeholders, providing oversight and guidance to projects of high importance, creating and improving systems and processes to streamline and manage operations, and assisting the CEO with the preparation of materials and communications for critical internal and external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**

Administrative
- Assists the CEO with agenda management, meeting preparation, and follow-up to optimize CEO productivity.
- Schedules and organizes high priority meetings, such as Board meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Strategic Planning initiatives, and the Annual General Meeting.
- Determines the agenda for the weekly Leadership Team meeting, updates tracking documents, and drives follow-up actions.
- Maintains lists of important CEO contacts, such as the company’s investor database.
- In coordination with the CFO, supports the Annual Strategic Planning process (helping functional leaders prepare content and materials).
- Determines the agenda and constructs the deck for Quarterly Business Reviews.
- In coordination with the CFO and the Quality team, facilitates annual and quarterly goal setting and review.

Advisory
- Serves as a trusted advisor to the executive.
- Conducts research, benchmarks, analyzes data, and makes recommendations.
- Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information for the CEO to facilitate decision making and task execution.

External Communications
- Drafts Board decks and other meeting materials.
- Aids CEO in drafting communications, such as the Annual Report and Quarterly Business Update content, slide decks, speeches, and other presentations.

Strategic Initiatives
- Tracks high priority initiatives for the CEO.
- Leads initiatives that don’t have a clear “home” within an existing company function.

Project Management
- Plans and oversees internal operations on behalf of the CEO.
- Identifies and tracks problematic areas before they become obstacles to progress.

**About you**:

- Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar field
- 2+ years in a business or management role
- Experience organizing and directing projects
- Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
- Track record of data analysis and critical decision-making
- Consulting experience with exposure to marketing and project management (preferred)
- Horizontal leader who can manage and influence with positive spirit and light touch
- Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
- Strong reporting skills with a focus on interdepartmental communication
- Excellent communicator in written and verbal form
- Outstanding PowerPoint skills (essential)
- Outstanding written and verbal English skills and the ability to write and edit English copy (essential)
- Willingness to work long hours and respond to urgent requests in alignment with the CEO’s responsibilities and workload (essential)
- Ease communicating with senior leaders
- Extremely versatile and productive
- Highly adaptable, with a can-do attitude and able to thrive in a constantly changing environment
- High EQ and excellent people skills

**Supervision**
This is an individual contributor position with strategic responsibility and impact. The Chief of Staff will report to the Chief Executive Officer and liaise with other senior stakeholders.
