Working with Electrification, you will drive ABB Electrification’s (EL’s) delivery of for example, performance, ASR, AIP, grading & reporting and systems (workday), together with the ABB EL business and align all related topics with the strategic business objectives and corporate strategy, policy, procedures and guidelines. This role will also support relevant business related M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) projects within area of responsibility and reports to the Head of HR Electrification.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the global strategic agenda as member of ABB’s Performance & Reward Leadership Team, sponsors global projects at the request of Corporate HR.
- Accountable for the delivery of EL’s Performance & Reward programs in 75+ countries, including performance management, Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) set up, target setting, annual salary budget setting, long-term incentives, sales incentives plans (SIP), recognition and awards.
- Leads a team of specialists to deliver expert and innovative compensation and international mobility support to the EL business in liaison with HR Business Partners, ABB Electrification Finance, employee relations, GBS, Corporate and the other ABB business areas.
- Supports Head of HR and Corporate in running seamless Executive Compensation processes in EL, including close interaction with Top Executives
- Drives the operation of the performance management process together with Corporate, run regular PDA reporting to ensure that EL KPIs matrix is properly implemented in individual targets and develop initiatives to improve performance culture.
- Contributes to the design and supports the governance of employee benefit programs for Corporate Benefits where EL is the lead country.
- Accountable for supporting acquisition and divestments related compensation, benefits and pension related projects in EL, with the support of the M&A and Corporate Compensation teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting of compensation information for business and planning requirements and drive data cleanliness together with GBS.
- Manage Electrification inputs to the yearly review of the ABB Job Catalogue in collaboration with GBS, HR Business Partners and HR Operations and ensure “Book of Jobs” includes new grading blueprints that can be used across ABB.

**Your background**:

- A seasoned manager with a University degree and at least 10 years of experience in reward, in a global role, with specific experience in ASR, AIP, grading and IT systems for global organizations of similar complexity to ABB Electrification.
- Proven leadership skills in a fast-changing and challenging environment
- Workday HCM and Compensation certification preferred or related HR business experience.
- Process improvement mindset, outside-the-box thinking to deliver innovate and create results.
- Business acumen and ability to link business imperatives to impact on compensation.
- Strong negotiations skills and ability to persuade other internal and occasionally external parties to accept complete proposals and programs where there may be little interest in cooperating or participating.
- Seasoned project management skills for planning, overseeing and leading large projects with 50+ colleagues from idea through to completion with interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously.
- Strong experience of working and delivering compensation processes through a shared services model.
- Ability to effectively operate in a matrix organization and expertise in the use of complex influence strategies across divisions, functions and jurisdictions on a global basis.
