**Purpose of this role**:
The purpose of the role is to lead a group internal consultants engaging with all businesses to identify all facets of potential digital transformation (people, process and technology). It is part of Zurich’s agenda to become a ‘digital first’ organisation, putting the customer front and centre of the business to enhance the customer experience, distribution channels and digitise the entire insurance value chain, reduce the cost to serve and create future digital propositions and revenue streams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- The Head of Professional Services (PS) will be responsible for facilitating the engagement with business stakeholders, shaping the technology strategy, the scope of project initiatives, mobilising relevant internal capability to deliver the project/programme portfolio, whilst maintaining oversight of projects to ensure that key deliverables align the business outcomes and key benefits are realised
- Work with key Technology and Business stakeholders to Co-develop solutions
- Work collaboratively across Group Technology & Operations (GTO) business units functions including Business Technology Solutions (BTS), and Data & Business Intelligence (DBI), as well as Global Ventures Technology teams then actively market, identify and implement solutions
- In addition to hands on delivery work, collaborate in a consultative fashion with other senior stakeholders (Business Units, Functions, etc.), to provide practical input on technologies and provide solutions to improve their efficiency and effectiveness
- Champion new technologies and operation excellence by setting and sharing program goals and measuring and demonstrating impact
- Maintain currency on new technologies and platforms and provide direction on what emerging technologies should be assimilated, integrated and introduced to create and maintain a competitive advantage
- The role is a new appointment, with a direct team of circa 5 FTES and will have the scope to make additional strategic hires

**Your skills and experience**:

- 10 years + consulting experience, commercially astute and tech savvy
- Extensive experience of consulting with executive level stakeholders, dealing with ambiguity to shape technology and digital transformation solutions
- Proven ability to create business cases, influencing and gaining support from key stakeholders including C-level executives and business partners
- Accomplished at navigating highly federated global organisations, securing and mobilising teams in a global matrix and delivering change through influence
- Experienced leader to develop the consulting capability of the team and create momentum of the internal consulting team
- Experience in leading technology change and deployments
- Experience with vendor management, including demonstrated success in conducting RFP's and vendor service transitions, creating KPI’s
- Experience with organizational change management methodologies
