The Manager of Accounting is responsible for the successful operation of the accounting support function
- of certain international offices, including Switzerland, Israel and India. This position is based in Zurich,
- Switzerland and reports to the International Controller.
- Responsible for managing the daily activities related to an accounting team in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensures the overall integrity of the accounting process.
- Maintains up-to-date documented policies and procedures.
- Prepares the financial statements. Provides annual PBC's in preparation of the external audit.
- Prepares and/or reviews financial statements variance analysis.
- Ability to work extended hours during close.
- Responsible for maintaining and/or operating an effective internal control environment in conformance with company compliance requirements.
- Implementation of Payroll function, Accounts Payable (AP) function, Treasury function, accounting (all
- non-revenue), financial reporting for group reporting (US GAAP) and local statutory filings (IFRS
- GAAP) and tax reporting & compliance.

Knowledge:

- Expert knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted
- Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent time management, communications, presentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead special projects from beginning to end and facilitate meetings.
- Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel as well as CFO leadership.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required.
- Requires 5 years of professional accounting experience with 2-4 years in area being managed.
- Minimum 2 years leadership experience required. ERP experience a plus.
- Relevant experience in industry accounting or accounting operations.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- High level of organization to ensure deadlines are met for all accounting supporting functions, awareness
- of documentation procedures and preservation of source documents.
