Management of the Legal Department Wealth Management / Digital Investing within the division Legal & Compliance Wealth Management / Digital Investing and leading a the team of experts
Contact person and responsibility for national and international legal issues of the client units Wealth Management / Digital Investing, in particular in the areas of contract law, financial market law, inheritance law, security law, adult protection law, debt enforcement and bankruptcy law, procedural law, criminal law as well as regulatory issues
Responsibility for drafting, negotiating, and reviewing (special) contracts with clients and business partners
Independent legal support of projects of the client units Wealth Management / Digital Investing (e.g. in the area of digitalization or introduction of new products)
Collaboration in the analysis and implementation of new (national and international) regulatory or legal requirements
Independent handling of client complaints
Dealing with official enquiries from national and international authorities, such as issuing orders, arrest and information requests Coordinating and liaising with external attorneys and specialists consulted
Representing Vontobel before authorities and third parties
Supervision and maintenance of client contracts (in particular updating of contracts and drafting of new contracts)
Legal review of enquiries from the Marketing division

You bring
Admission to the Swiss bar and a master’s degree in law from a Swiss university
Minimum of 6 years of post-graduate legal experience in a Swiss bank or in a Swiss law firm with working and experience in banking related issues, with several years of leading experience (with track record)
Proven experience in the above-mentioned areas (in particular banking law and civil law)
Motivation and ability to quickly learn new tasks and areas of law
Great sense of integrity, behaving consistently with expressed values and ethical principles of Vontobel
Full proficiency in English and German, further language skills are an asset (e.g. French) You are
