Technology Leader for Data, Integration

You will lead a multi-location data organisation covering data management and governance, delivery of data products and projects, management data Platform technology, data integration services and tools for self-service business intelligence. You will work with closely business and function leaders to data continues to be an enabler for the business strategy. This position is placed in Olten/Lausanne, Switzerland and reports to the Group CIO.
**Your main responsibilities**
- Lead, design and implement Data Strategy and Data Architecture in support of business needs and company strategy areas
- Manages data platform, data assets (data domains, domain model, data views etc) and underpinning technology and tools to deliver the company wide data strategy
- Lead and implements Integration and API’s for businesses and corporate functions
- Leads the analysis and implementation of business intelligence and data reporting for stakeholders in corporate functions
- Establishes and enforces data governance policies to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance
- Curates and organize data for business consumption and ensure data can be democratized for stakeholders via the implementation of easy-to-follow data management practices, including quality standards, catalogues, API framework, education program and decision support capabilities.
- Develop strategies for identifying and mitigating data-related risks
- Leads and drives a culture of continuous improvement in data processes and related technologies
- Leads all teams that perform above activities
**Your profile**
- 10 to 15 years of technology leadership/management experience of which eight of those were leading data strategy and implementation
- Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a large and diverse multi location team
- Deep understanding of business data architecture
- Strong domain knowledge in Energy, Power, Gas, RES and data
- Knowledge of programming and cloud technologies for data ingestion, processing and analytics, such as Python, Java and data science frameworks such as Keras and Tensorflow
- Experience of product & project management and software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, DevOps)
- Strong technical knowledge of cloud and Data platform technologies
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate to C Suite level.
- Natural ability to influence business stakeholders.
- Ability to educate non data savvy business stakeholders on complex data topics.
- Successful track record in data transformation in a Trading or Energy asset environment
- Strong team player
