**Your main responsibilities**

  • Develop, implement, and execute trading strategies, on fundamental and technical analysis
  • Analyse energy market trends and data to optimize strategies
  • Work with Fundamentals Analysts on models, identify and address areas for enhancement to enable growth of the business
  • Manage relationships with counterparties and brokers
  • Actively collaborate and exchange views within the gas team and the wider Merchan Trading organization
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal guidelines

**Your profile**

  • Master’s degree in economics and/or other quantitative field
  • Several years of working knowledge of all relevant gas market operations and execution, including gas prop trading
  • Demonstrable track record of producing sustainable revenue from trading activities
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Team player with Excellent communication skills
