In this role you will be responsible to develop and deliver a commercial strategy for global digital service portfolio in services business

**This position reports to**:
Global Product Manager Service

**Your responsibilities**:

- Manage a global product portfolio (of software, hardware or services) throughout its whole life cycle, with responsibility for product/system/ service profitability;
- Lead continuous business analysis of the existing portfolio and potential new portfolio items including analysis of alternative investments and reviewing potential partnering options;
- Define brand and product portfolio offering and positioning in cases of multi-brand ABB owner-ship;
- Lead product/system/service and solution strategy creation;
- Contribute to business strategy definition and translates business strategy into the product/system/service and solution portfolio through market and customer segmentation, and continuously analyses the content of the portfolio with a focus on new potential products;
- Pro-pose and be directly involved in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) partnership activi-ties, defining brand, product/system/service portfolio and related business strategy;
- Oversee localization footprint, technology transfer and trading model strategy definition to maximize time to market, competency availability/development, customer service levels and product profitability;
- Analyse and track globally market, technology, competitor and customer requirements and trends related to the product/system/ service business and determines competitive attributes, prioritization and value proposition.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s or higher degree in a Computer Science or Engineer;
- 20+ years of experience in the OT / software industry with focus on software commercialization, digitalization and the Internet of Things, and deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends;
- Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken);
- Proven track record in customer focus, exposure to customer top management, product management driving results and turning opportunities into sales successes;
- Proven experience in driving digital development for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (process, energy, software, technology, automation);
- Understanding and implementation of agile product management and incorporating VOCs and UX into the agile requirements process;
- Availability to travel internationally as required.
