**Global Digital Portfolio Manager - Process Performance**:

In this role you will be responsible for the long term profitable growth and marketing of the ABB digital Process Performance offering to targeted market segments.

**This position reports to**:
Global Digital Porfolio Lead

**Your responsibilities**:

- Support digital strategy for process performance on market dynamics, disruption and emerging technologies and the impact on business model, products and services
- Drive the use of data and analytics, and articulate its impact on industrial process
- Drive digital talent and culture, be an advisor on digital transformation for APC and simulation both internally and externally
- Monetize new business models and support investment requirements in digital business
- Strong financial and business discipline to roadmap prioritization and launch analysis of each product
- Drive portfolio financial accountability for results
- Support sales consulting engagements for strategic opportunities in APC and simulation
- Deliver product training and sales enablement programs to increase portfolio adoption
- Co-ordinate and collaborate with product groups and other divisions to align digital portfolio requirements

**Your background**:

- 10+ years’ experience in the OT / software industry with focus on digitalization and the Internet of Things, and deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical field
- Understanding and implementation of agile product management and incorporating VOCs into the agile requirements process
- Background in cloud and edge technologies, digital twins, analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning as applied to Process Performance solutions
- Understanding of pre-test, tuning, step testing, model identification, inferential deployment, interfacing and commissioning
- Expert level in PID tuning for regulatory controllers and Distributor Control System (DCS) integration
- Extensive exposure to various unit operations in refining, chemicals, mining, metals, etc. as well as sound knowledge of optimization techniques and the design of APC controllers
