Working with Motion, you will be acting as business partner to function head to monitor and optimize financial performance within an assigned area. Support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing and interpreting financial data in order to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate business solutions. Provide financial and controlling expertise by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Financial Reporting: Supports preparation of relevant financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting. Validates accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions.
- Business Analysis: Performs analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast and proposes improvement actions. Works with other finance professionals in Regions/Countries to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends. Prepare financial modelling for various” what if” scenarios and the overall impact to the division. Performs benchmarking of key performance indicators with externals and internal peers. Special focus areas: plant/ product profitability, product mix analysis by region/sales unit,
- Business Information: Establishes and oversees processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information. Ensure high quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules. Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses and recommendations.
- Communication with internal stakeholders: Ensure timely and efficient communication with relevant Local/Country/Regional division controllers, Financial Business Services or Centers of Expertise, and other internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for area of responsibility.
- Optimization: Optimizes own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements.
- Internal control and documentation: Ensures processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with Group and unit requirements. Maintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/internal /external audits and reviews
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, with Finance management/Accounting or related qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in similar role with overall 10 years’ experience in financial reporting and analysis, overdue optimization, forecasting of orders and revenue controlling, internal controls and audit.
- Good leadership, can do attitude, collaboration mindset
- Good skill on MS software and analytic tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally
