**Your team**:

- As the successful applicant, you will join the Group Risk Department and work on the Group Investment Risk team, both of which are part of our Corporate Functions Division.- Corporate Functions includes the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Organisation & Digital, Risk and Tax departments.**Your role**:

- You will act as the primary contact person for the Group’s market risk management by designing and deploying the appropriate risk management framework for the Trading Book while acting as the back-up for the Banking Book risk management.- You will be responsible for:
- Defining the rules of engagement for market risk activities across the Group.
- Setting the risk management framework and its principles.
- Running daily controls (e.g. capital requirements, limit consumption).
- Testing the functioning of the internal control system for market risk activities.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and dealing with any requests from the regulator.
- Reporting market risk analytics to top management and the Board of Directors.
- Managing the development of tools used to monitor market risk, with particular focus on automation, quality of data and the delivery of relevant dashboards.

**Your profile**:

- University degree in Finance or Science (Engineering, Mathematics, etc.) or a qualification deemed equivalent. A CFA, CAIA, CIIA or equivalent post-graduate diploma would be a definite plus.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role, setting up and managing complex risk frameworks in an investment-led firm or department.
- In-depth knowledge of derivative products, trading strategies and regulations.
- Knowledge of Front Arena, RiskPro and Tableau would be a plus.
- An entrepreneurial and ‘can-do’ spirit, as well as the ability to work alone unsupervised and with problem-solving skills and a strong capacity for analytical thinking.
- Sound organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in French and English.
- As a self-motivated, entrepreneurial and result-oriented individual, you will act under the supervision of the Group Head of Investment Risk. You will be supportive and committed to improving the overall market risk management framework. You will also be willing to share your experiences with others.- As part of your duties you will be required to show initiative. You will therefore also have to demonstrate an ability to plan and manage your time effectively to achieve objectives, meet your deadlines and build strong relationships with the different legal entities’ Risk teams to establish mutual trust and respect.**Note**:
