We’re seeking a Data Solutions Architect who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization, especially blockchain that’s always pushing boundaries. Here, you will take complete, end-to-end ownership of our special projects. You will have experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back
- end languages. You’ll be joining an amazing team working at the forefront of new technology, solving the challenges that impact both the front
- end and back
- end architecture, and ultimately, deliver amazing global user experiences.

Tasks
- Define the data lifecycle, modelling and design, including helping refine data governance and information security principles to ensure compliant handling and management of data.
- Design and specify approach to anonymization of data and how to keep data growth under a given service domain model.
- Perform data architecture reviews with stakeholders to ensure the data model increments are validated and aligned to the overall data model.
- Design and specify key architectural patterns (e.g., operational data stores, CQRS, analytical data store strategies, zero-trust and event-driven structures.).
- Collaborate in the continuous improvement of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle, as well as improve coding guidelines and architectural principles.
- Design and extend a domain-driven enterprise data model.
- Design, architect and document business process. Liaise with developers and architectural team for the specification and implementation of the business process.
- Collaborate in the continuous improvement of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle.
- Mentor and grow a community of fellow engineers.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent area is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a data architectural or senior development position in high-growth environments - blockchain, fintech or banking experience highly preferred.
- Demonstrated successful track-record creating architectural solutions for institutional-grade products and services.
- Proficiency on architectural patterns, including event-driven architecture, zero-trust design, microservices design, and API design.
- Experience with relational databases, document storage and in-memory data store technologies such as Postgres, DynamoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
- Hands-on experience in design and configuration of AWS and Azure cloud services.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to present engineering strategy to the C-level and large audiences.
