**What you'll do**
As Solution Architect, you will be mainly involved in designing new API based services within the Financial Planning & Investment area of the bank. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of a service. This includes requirements analysis, stakeholder management, solution design, implementation oversight and testing. In addition you will also be required to manage and maintain production services, which includes troubleshooting, impact assessment and resolving production incidents.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of how different systems / services integrate
- Technical solution design, analysis and deployment of investment related products around our core-banking system
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, business analysts and other key stakeholders to understand goals, requirements and options
- Maintain and analyse the production environment to identify critical deficiencies, legacy issues, and technical debt and recommend solutions for improvement
- Troubleshooting, impact assessment and resolution of production incidents.
**The skills you'll need**
We’re looking for a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. To be successful in this role you’ll need to have proven background in software engineering and an engineering degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science. Additionally, you’ll provide a vast know-how in Solution Design as well as experience in areas such as API management, Security and Microservice Frameworks.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- Hands-on technical expertise in software design and development, including programming best practices related to scalability, availability and performance
- Analytical mind, excellent communication and problem solving skills, ready to work in a challenging business environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; quick learner; self-motivated, team player
- Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken), German is a plus
