**About the job**:

- The Red Hat Global Ecosystem team is looking for an experienced Global Partner Account Manager with a record of successfully delivering business results to lead our partnership with ABB. In this role, you will work closely with a wide range of teams to expand our capabilities globally and effectively contribute to growing Red Hat’s results working across the different lines of business with ABB. You must have solid business development, leadership, and engagement skills to guide alignment across a range of Red Hat and different ABB business units and stakeholders. This role can be located in any country where Red Hat has a legal entity, with a strong preference for the Central European time zone.**What you will do**:

- Work with the Red Hat Ecosystems team generating and optimizing existing and new embedded business with ABB; accurately forecast and develop business in accordance with company goals
- Work with the Red Hat Ecosystem team developing co-sell joint solutions being delivered globally
- Grow the joint business with ABB; work with the Red Hat Sales and Finances teams to grow and improve the end-to-end business processes for these lines of business with ABB
- Provide leadership in the best use of Salesforce (SFDC) processes to manage and scale the different ABB businesses using past experience and analytical capabilities to grow and forecast accurately
- Build trusted relationships with customers and partners to advocate for Red Hat-based solutions and reference architectures and expand collaboration creating new opportunities

**What you will bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a technical discipline
- 8+ years of proven skills in a technology sales organization, with success in achieving sales targets and delivering in direct and channel routes-to-market; experience in a software organization is a big plus
- Demonstrated record of growing a business working with matrixed structures; proven ability to influence multiple internal organizations to guide increased market opportunities
- Good customer focus and presentation skills; ability to articulate and advocate for the vision and positioning of Red Hat technologies, and secure long-term customer commitments
- Ability to partner with business leaders to understand needs and propose solutions that meet their expectations
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and design novel approaches that balance local and global customer needs with corporate guidelines and philosophies
- Experience building and developing successful relationships with channel software vendors and technology partners
- Excellent understanding of the Red Hat embedded software business
- Excellent understanding of channel-centric go-to-market strategies and programs and ability to engage and align with internal and ABB audiences globally
- Experience working in the Red Hat sales organization is a big plus
