Your team**
The Payment team is a dynamic team of Software Developers and Business Analysts spread across development centers in Edinburgh, Zurich and Manila. We follow an agile process, working closely with the Product Owner and related teams to develop product features and provide support to our extensive global customer base.
We work with customers and partners to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet market demands and help shape the payments landscape of tomorrow. The team is part of many exciting and challenging projects relating to cutting-edge Swiss, European and worldwide banking initiatives.
**Your mission**
- Ownership over Avaloq’s Payment Integration products, built by our development team
- Develop a deep understanding of the regulation, the customer and product needs
- Create the product vision and roadmap
- Groom and prioritize the product backlog
- Analyze and challenge new functional/non-functional requirements
- Write user stories and specifications for new features
- Collaborate with development team, project team, service team, product management, customers, users and other stakeholders
- Ensure quality of the product (test cases, testing) and efficient development process
- Prepare the product launch, prepare and present in sales cases and customer events
- Manage product updates from end to end by coordinating between all involved stakeholders all the way from building to running the product.
Qualifications**
What you need**
- University or college degree in computer science/engineering, Business, Economics or equivalent professional education
- Excellent banking knowledge in the areas of Payment Integration
- Demonstrate strategic thinking by using appropriate information to diagnose problems, identify possible solutions and collaborate with impacted groups to drive decisions
- An admirable oral and presentation skills to communicate effectively with small and large groups across all levels of staff and management
- Project planning and management skills
- Diplomatic with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Adapt to changing circumstances quickly and professionally
- Strong analytical skills and high standards in terms of product quality
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
