**Job Description**:
As Regional Sales Manager you will play a crucial role in managing and developing sales activities within your designated geographical region. Your primary responsibility is to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the travel and language education industries, including trends, customer preferences, and market dynamics.
Your key responsibilities include overseeing a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they meet their individual and collective sales goals. You are responsible for creating and implementing sales strategies and action plans to expand the customer base and increase market share. Therefore, your role is also to work closely with the marketing team to run both on and offline activities for promoting our brand and generate more leads locally. This involves identifying potential business opportunities, conducting market research, and analysing competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
Additionally, you monitor sales performance, generate reports, and present findings to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for further improvement.
**Qualifications**:
**Education and experience**
- Strong leadership, education and travel industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills to succeed in a highly competitive market.
- Proven ability and experience to manage and develop sales teams in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strategic and analytical mind able to track results.
- People developer: good eye for talent and proven ability to motivate staff.
**Language skills**
- Native Swiss German speaker
- English proficient
- Good command of French and/or Spanish are considered a strong plus.
**Other**
- Flexibility to travel frequently to key ESL offices in Switzerland and to HQ in Montreux, Barcelona or Milano from time to time.
