About the team you are joining

The Digital Transformation team is responsible to design and to develop the digital roadmap to support the airline industry business transformation. Under the guidance of IATA’s Digital Transformation Advisory Council, the unit is designing and developing digital, data and innovation programs accelerating the transition from legacy processes and technology towards a modern digital airline industry.

What your day would be like

As Intern, Digital Identity, under the guidance of the Senior Manager Digital Identity you will:

- Support in the development of industry Digital Identity Technical Standards.
- Conduct research and analysis to understand Decentralized Identity technical standards and protocols, such as OpenID4VC and DIDcomm, and their potential to meet airline industry requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments and external partners to gather essential input and feedback.
- Assist in organizing and documenting outcomes from workshops and stakeholder meetings.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends and legal frameworks to suggest innovative solutions.
- Support the Digital Transformation Team in additional tasks as directed by the Senior Manager.

We would love to hear from you if
- Recent graduate (less than 12 months) in IT security or Computer Science.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Experience with Decentralized Identity or Self-Sovereign Identity standards and stacks is a plus.
- Be an active team player in a multicultural working environment.
- Strong communication skills in English including ability to explain functional impact of technical choices.
