Connected to our self-care business unit, we are recruiting for a **Inventory and Business Strategy Lead - Self Care** who will be responsible to Inventory Control, SLOB (slow & obsolete) management & will operate special programs to improve agility for the Consumer Self Care in EMEA region. In this role, the individual will build an interface between RSP (Regional Supply Planners), In-Market demand teams to ensure right level of stock availability at right locations thus enabling required levels of customer service. This individual will also work with regional agility team and site teams to execute projects to improve agility in supply chain and reduce SLOB. The individual will also be responsible for precise, timely and accurate communication of all relevant information to the key partners in the Consumer Health organization.

In addition, you will constantly seek for improvements to make our supply chain more robust and resilient, lead or participate in projects to further strengthen our supply chain. The tasks will require strong understanding of inventory planning, financial reporting and system knowledge.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Accountability of achieving Inventory & SLOB targets for Self-Care Business.
- Identify and drive opportunities to make a step change transformation of how J&J Consumer manages cash which includes identifying new operating business models
- Carry out slow moving and non-moving stock analysis and work with Demand teams on timely liquidation.
- Drive the development and implementation of inventory policies, inventory entitlement, MEIO - multi-echelon inventory optimization and standardization of inventory-related processes.
- Drive yearly business planning cycle and long-range financial planning (LRFP) while working closely with the sites and global functions (Make/Source/Deliver) to create the global inventory plan/targets throughout the strategic horizon.
- Support OMP template design, ensuring a global, segment solution is developed aligned to enterprise template. Define how the business will utilize OMP to enable multi echelon inventory optimization (MEIO)
- Ensure outside-in thinking with ongoing external perspectives and benchmarking, both internal and external, to further shape the Inventory Management future state and leverage best practices
- Drive a collaborative connection between the Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning and E2E Planning pillars - both across regions/ functions.

**Qualifications** Qualifications**:

- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Procurement, Business Administration or Engineering. APICS certification is preferred
- Experience in Inventory Management required. Strong background/experience in Supply Chain Planning processes and systems is preferred
- IT-literate (very strong excel user knowledge)
- Working knowledge in SAP R/3 and SAP APO strongly preferred
- Individual contributor with good communication skills in English
