The strategic ambition of the newly created Data & Analytics (D&A) function is to build, embed and mature a data-driven culture across the entire company resulting in a world-class Data & Analytics company.

The AI/ML &BI Platforms Team has been established to create, operate, and run enterprise AI/ML & BI Platforms that will facilitate the time to market for analytics and data science teams to run experiments, train models and generate insights. Core to the team’s principles will be the implementation of data and model governance standards and operationalization of the model release process.

The **AI & BI Platform Strategy Lead **will be responsible to socialize and advocate the Data and Analytics Strategy and in particular the strategy our use of Enterprise Analytics platforms across Thomson Reuters. This will entail running focused cross-functional projects, running pilots and experiments to test, launch and land new platform capabilities. The Strategy Lead role will also partner with the Program Management group to bridge the gaps between pilots/experiments and teams tasked with delivering final solutions.

This role will be based in one of our strategic locations of Zug/Gdansk/Toronto/ Minneapolis/ Mexico City/Bangalore

**About the Role**

In this opportunity you will:

- Build strong partnerships across the organization and connect the underlying themes across our Platform strategy and global transformation initiatives
- Support commercial negotiations and provide inputs into commercial playbooks, propositions and proposal templates
- Build clear and transparent communication channels to align internal stakeholders and ensure that relevant audiences receive accurate updates on programs and projects.
- Initiate and lead cross-functional pilots and experiments on new platform features from design to adoption
- Transition pilots/experiments into high level requirements and transition these requirements to appropriate delivery teams
- Work with program management team to align demand from across the organization (including major initiatives) with platform strategy and transition high level requirements to appropriate delivery team

- Demonstrated ability and experience to influence, develop productive working relationships, and lead technical teams and key stakeholders from different business functions.
- You are able to bring order to a complex situation with various stakeholders approaching a strategic problem in different ways.
- Consulting skills including problem framing and problem solving, critical thinking, situational analysis at a macro and micro level, communications and influence
- Have 7 years prior experience in Data and Technology
