**Your team**:
Pictet Asset Management (Pictet AM) manages the assets of some of the world’s largest institutions, financial intermediaries and their clients. Our culture welcomes independent thinkers and centres around investment excellence, a long-term perspective and a dedication to client service.

As Pictet AM’s needs are growing, we are looking for a Risk Manager to join our Equities Risk team, which is responsible for identifying opportunities for improved risk management, investment behaviour, and portfolio construction while preserving client interests across our strategies. In this role you will work as part of an international team of 11 Equity Risk Managers and a broader Investment Risk team of 35 to take part in project work that further enhances the team’s value-added proposition at Pictet.

**Your role**:

- Daily monitoring of the risk and performance of funds and investment mandates under your supervision.
- Regularly communicating with fund managers to explore and analyse risk consumption in their funds.
- Producing timely risk analysis, improving internal risk processes and developing quantitative tools, including:

- Analysis of risk-factor exposures and factor-based attributions
- Development of efficient risk dashboards
- Liquidity risk and fund capacity estimation
- Stress testing and sensitivity analysis
- Data exploration and development of tools with Python/R
- Developing a deep understanding of the funds under your supervision, their investment processes and the risks imposed by their specific portfolio exposures.
- Ensuring sound risk modelling, challenging and enhancing current risk solutions and evaluating/implementing external solutions.
- Presenting to clients and working closely with sales/marketing teams.

**Your profile**:

- Master’s degree in Finance or the sciences (e.g. core sciences, Mathematics or Engineering).
- Detailed understanding of equities risk management and portfolio construction. Asset management experience preferred.
- Previous experience of at least three years implementing or working with risk systems for equities, ideally based on equity fundamental factor models.
- Intellectual curiosity and depth of skills enabling you to perform ad hoc tasks and special projects.
- Professional qualifications such as FRM, CFPI, IMC or CFA a plus.
- Familiarity with data analysis through APIs/ SQL and Python (preferred) or R.
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Tableau a plus.
- Must be fluent in English and French.
- Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
