Research Associate, Discovery Technologies

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- You will employ various technologies to identify targets of molecular glue degraders - a skillset with broad applicability in a range of drug discovery approaches.
- You will implement and compare pooled and arrayed approaches for CRISPR/Cas9 KO screens utilizing techniques such as flow cytometry, luminescence-based assays, western blotting, and sequencing.
- You will establish complex immunoprecipitation assays as an orthogonal approach to CRISPR/Cas9 KO screening.
- You will collaborate with different functions within the company and attend and present your data at team and project meetings.
Qualifications:
- Our preference is for a student currently in a master’s degree program in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a life science field.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong desire to learn the most advanced approaches in drug discovery and targeted protein degradation.
- Previous experience with mammalian cell culture, molecular biology / biochemical techniques (e.g. Western Blot, DNA extraction, PCR) are required. Prior experience with generation of lentivirus (working under BSL2 standards) and sequencing is desirable.
- Is a fast learner and enjoys working in a team-based environment.
