The Quality Manager VS-P&B acts as the quality link between the supplier/producer and dsm-firmenich. Internally, the Quality Manager VS-P&B works closely together with Product Regulatory and Quality Managers, Category and Product management, Purchasing, Supply Chain Managers, Customer Support teams and Account Managers. The VS-P&B team is located globally in Switzerland and China.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Support and maintain Quality Assurance System for Strategically Sourced Products (SSPs) under P&B.
- Supplier/Producer/Material (re-) qualification in alignment with Purchasing.
- Compile and evaluate supplier qualification documents.
- Take decision on the verdict to release or reject Material to the market to ensure a continuous supply chain.
- Investigate Customer Complaints in alignment with suppliers, initiate Corrective and Preventive actions at VS P&B and/or on suppliers’ side.
- Set up and maintain product risk assessments.
- Establish and maintain spot check testing schemes based on product risk exposures and supplier qualification status.
- Review and/or approve quality related documents (e.g. deviations, changes, validations).

**You bring**
- University degree in Life Science (or equivalent qualification).
- Knowledge in Quality Management requirements for Cosmetic ingredients.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills (internal and external).
- Experience to work with diverse and cross-functional teams, internally and externally.
- Experience in analysis laboratory/analytical chemistry and/or manufacturing.
- Fluency in English, other languages are assets.
- Willingness to travel.
