**Your role**
- Do you have experience in advising on legal and regulatory risks in the sustainable finance space? Are you interested in answering new and complex legal questions that cannot be looked up in the codes of law? Would you like to be part of a team contributing to an implementation of regulations which are substantially changing financial market’s landscape? Would you like to help UBS execute its sustainability strategy in line with the ever-evolving regulatory framework?
- We're looking for someone like you to:
- provide expert legal advice and guidance on sustainability-related legal risks to UBS Chief Sustainability Office, UBS Business Divisions and Group Functions (incl. legal analysis of existing and new ESG-focused regulations, drafting and amending client facing contracts and documents, reviewing and signing-off FAQs for internal staff)
- analyze the impact that the new ESG-focused regulations have on our business and clients
- stay up to date with the sustainability-related regulatory developments across Europe
- effectively collaborate with senior colleagues within Group Legal, Business Divisions and Group Function to deliver commercial yet legally compliant solutions
- support our strategic initiatives and projects

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in the Sustainable Finance Legal team, a center of excellence dedicated to ESG. Your primary goal will be to support efforts of UBS Chief Sustainability Office as well as assess legal risks triggered by ESG-oriented activities carried out of various UBS Business Divisions and Group Functions. In addition, your daily work will be driven by newest regulatory developments in the ESG space, such as the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, the Taxonomy Regulation, MiFID II, the UK Sustainability Disclosure Requirements, Swiss self-regulations, and various newly emerging corporate reporting standards.

**Your expertise**
- a university degree in law (admittance to the bar and additional relevant education like an LL.M. is an asset)
- at least 4 years of practical experience in international banking or in an international law firm
- solid knowledge of the ESG-related regulatory landscape in the EU, the UK or Switzerland
- fluent in English (other languages are an asset)
- result-oriented and assertive (you don’t shy away from challenging situations)
- team player who is curious to learn, takes initiative and is keen to help others
