**What it's about**

**Main Responsibilities**
- Identify emerging macro themes and paradigm shifts, looking at economic, market, industry and company data, and make recommendations on implications in a private markets investment context
- Drive and independently conduct empirical research and analyses on economic data / trends that help shape the firm's core macro views and convictions
- Help investment teams and investment committees reach investment conclusions by carrying out country macro analyses and assessing macro risks and opportunities for individual investment opportunities, taking into account the typical 3- to 7-year investment horizon
- Collaborate with our investment teams and the management of our portfolio companies to help shape strategic initiatives impacted by macro trends and developments
- Prepare analytical reports and commentary on economic and financial topics for internal and external distribution

**What we expect**
- Master's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Finance or other relevant discipline, followed by 7-10 years of relevant work experience in one of the following sectors: Banking / Financial services / Consultancy
- Profound understanding of global macroeconomics and monetary policies and their impact on corporate earnings, capital markets and valuations. Understanding of private markets is a plus
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including building macro models. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive individual with ambition, goal-orientation and boldness, with a hands-on approach to conducting proprietary research and studies
- Ability to work proactively and independently, handling a diverse number of tasks under tight deadlines. Organized with high attention to detail
- Fluent English in writing and speaking
- CFA considered an advantage
