- In this role as a Legal Counsel you contribute to Sonova's growth and corporate governance agenda. You will play a key role in supporting the team in matters of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), competition law, and, occasionally, on employment law and marketing. If you thrive in a dynamic and challenging work environment, have a passion for contributing to the corporate legal team and are able to deal with a broad scope of different legal matters in a high paced working environment, this may be the perfect role for you.**Your tasks**
- Contribute to Sonova's growth and corporate governance
- Collaborate with global stakeholders and multi-functional teams
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documentation, such as acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and franchise agreements
- Support in a broad range of competition law and anti-trust related regulatory matters
- Assist in various corporate law matters including intra-group transactions
- Occasionally support in day-to-day employment law, marketing and IP related matters.
- Collaborate with various business development functions
- Manage external counsels
- Support legal integration activities related to acquisition activities
- Assist on other matters as needed

**Your profile**
- Master of Law (Swiss and/or abroad)
- Bar Exam (Swiss and/or foreign equivalent) a business / finance degree is a nice to have
- 5-8 years of work experience of post-qualified legal experience in private practice at a reputable law firm (or as in-house legal counsel in a reputable international company) in the areas of M&A, Corporate Law, and Competition Law
- Experience in the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences sector is a plus
- Knowledge of international M&A / Corporate Law, contract law, anti-trust and competition law, basic understanding of IP/IT and marketing law, familiarity with (Swiss) employment law
- Excellent legal contract drafting skills
- Familiarity with procurement and supply chain agreements is beneficial
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, knowledge of any other languages are beneficial
- Proficient in MS-Office Suite
