**Position: Junior Project Manager**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Individual and group air bookings plus hotel guest room bookings with the GDS system Amadeus incl. rebookings and cancelations.
- Complete project management (travel and meeting): project control and supervision, including professional consultation on all required group air, event, meeting and incentive services.
- First point of contact for customers, nurturing and development of customer relations.
- Coordination of various suppliers (e.g. airlines, hotels, partners, and other meetings suppliers etc.)
- Full responsibilities of travel & meeting budgets and financial transactions as well as support for other team members.
- Knowledge of the company’s as well as customers' events guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Managing delivery of plans to stakeholders agreed time, quality and cost parameters including.
- Negotiating supplier contracts and terms for the meetings & events.
- Seek opportunities to develop and maximize new business and to identify any opportunities for further business.
- Lead of operational processes and tasks as well as oversight of all service level agreements.

**Key Qualifications**:
**Experiences**:

- Use of Amadeus or any other GDS is MANDATORY
- Extensive knowledge of travel & meeting management and several years' experience in purchasing travel & meeting services, and end-to-end planning of various meeting formats.
- Very good knowledge and several years’ experience of individual and group air bookings as well as hotel bookings in a GDS system.
- Experience to work in an national and international travel & meeting environment as well as to work with international processes in different languages.
- Commercial travel agency training at least 5 years of professional experience
- Deep knowledge of the meeting industry (venues, suppliers, etc.) in Switzerland as well as the airline industry.
- Consultative management and approach to questions, concerns and issues.

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Strong knowledge of travel & meeting related logistics incl. air & train, vendor negotiations, communication, and event techniques and methods.
- Very good knowledge of travel & meeting management, several years' experience in purchasing travel & meeting services, and end-to-end planning of various event formats.
- Fluent in German and English. French is an advantage.
- A strong understanding of travel & meeting related business figures and budget management (profitability of individual projects).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience with MS Office, in particular Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Deeper knowledge of event tools just as CVENT is a plus.
- Extensive experience with a well-known GDS, preferably Amadeus.
- Ability to build strengthen customer relationship on a daily basis.
- Ability to uphold the team spirit and motivation every day.
