**80-100 % **:The Joller group studies immune regulation in different disease contexts. We are investigating the drivers as well as the brakes in the immune system to understand how these may be contributing to diseases susceptibility, onset and progression. Our group uses cutting edge approaches at our state-of-the-art facilities to answer these questions, capitalizing on unique experimental models extensive experience in spectral flow cytometry and NGS approaches. Our pioneering work on TIGIT, a checkpoint molecule now targeted in a large number of ongoing clinical trials, and the functional specialization of regulatory T cells are the basis for our ongoing studies at the Department of Quantitative Biomedicine (DQBM) at the University of Zurich. The DQBM combines biomedical research with biotechnology and computational biomedicine to lay the foundations for next generation precision medicine and thus offers the ideal setting for innovative, interdisciplinary research.
