_Department of Chemistry_ **Postdoc position in Theoretical Chemistry** **80 %**:A postdoc position is available in the Luber group at the Department of Chemistry at University of Zurich (Switzerland). Our group focuses on forefront computational methods at the interface of chemistry, biology, physics, and materials science. In particular dynamic approaches (using, for instance, state-of-the-art DFT-molecular dynamics) for an accurate realistic description of compounds have been in focus of our research. **Your responsibilities**: You will join our team in order to strengthen our efforts for forefront nonadiabatic dynamics/ electron dynamics methods with emphasis on the condensed phase. In particular, we have focused on forefront nonadabatic dynamics using variational DFT methods and derivation of novel spectroscopic approaches using real time propagation / Ehrenfest dynamics (see publication list), providing exciting new insight into the role of environment in excited state dynamics and helping in designing new (ultrafast) experiments. The projects may be carried out in close collaboration with experimental groups.
