National Sales Manager Diabetes

**In order to reinforce the Diabetes Business Unit of the Swiss affiliate, we are looking for a National Sales Manager (Switzerland)**
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead a high performing team, cultivating a “winning mindset” that is customer focused, accountable, and inspire team performance
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop a vision and strategy that is aligned to the therapeutic area and the brands
- Connects, listens, and learns from customers to improve the brand impact
- Set high expectations for customer value creation, monitor performance, and take appropriate, constructive action, in line with external and Lilly policies
- Understand the health of the team and facilitate group interactions that engage and inspire positive performance
- Drive transformational mindset focused on balancing in person and digital touchpoints to customers
- Is accountable for the execution of the business plan with discipline, focus and responsibility
- Implements the sales plan, monitors execution and results, and adapts when needed to exceed business objectives.
- Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Economics or Marketing, as well as a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Has at least 1-2 years of experience in sales leadership and/or coaching and developing people.
- Shows a strong track record of high performance with high integrity
- Consistently encourages and exemplifies “Team Lilly” behaviors (include, accelerate, innovate, deliver) upholds Lilly values and enables the team to feel valued and trusted
- Is a team player working in diverse multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment, pro-active with respect to informing and consulting with other stakeholders
- Has experience in sales, sales management or similar commercial activities, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Shows excellent communication and organizational skills
- Is digitally savvy and drives data-based decision making
- Is fluent in either German or French and has good command of the other language as well as English; good knowledge of Italian is a plus
- Must live in and be willing to travel throughout Switzerland to support the team via virtual calls, dual days and attend customer events.
