The position holder will be responsible for maintaining world class engineering standards while leading and managing all engineering aspects in terms of engine maintenance (workscoping, performance), engine data management (LLP, AD/SB tracking), shop documentation, part repair and process engineering repair development engineering as well as the chemical and physical laboratory. Moreover he/ she will monitor the performance of the current engineering technology within the organization and will recommend and drive improvements. He/ She will plan and lead overall engineering activities to ensure optimal operations and productivity yet maintaining quality, cost and safety standards of products and will ensure that objectives are met. This position reports to the Senior Vice President Engine Services.

Your tasks
- Guarantee quality of engineering documents (workscope, work instructions, LLP/AD/SB reports, process descriptions) in accordance with all applicable SRT and Airworthiness Authorities rules and regulations at all times.
- Support engine induction, work scoping, maintenance and repair work, shop documentation, material investigation and laboratory analysis, process documentation, DOA repair work, repair development and repair introduction.
- Actively manage human resources to ensure availability of skills to meet demand at all times
- Drive performance culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow-up with all employees
- Drive efficiency improvement processes and projects
- Support the Commercial organization in customer acquisition and proposal process
- Engineer for Operations (Make sure to keep operations technicians in mind in all aspects of engineering including comprehendible work instructions etc.)

**Profile**:

- Education: Technical (Bachelor / Master degree)
- Advanced management and/or leadership education is a plus
- High level practical leadership skills
- Profound production or MRO industry experience
- Proven Project Management expertise and methodologies
- P&L responsibility: Desired
- Language: English and German at level C2 or higher
