This culture of caring is the focus of our corporate philosophy, that are anchored in the internationally applicable Credo **Sr Manager GMP Operations**: Manages all organizational and manufacturing related activities within GMP Operations to ensure that business objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Manages in-house manufacturing of cell banks, virus seeds, drug substances and drug products to meet the business needs for pre-clinical through commercial supplies. Tasks & Responsibilities: - Manages production flow to ensure successful transformation of raw materials into Drug substance and Drug products - Ensures effective transfer from Process development department of new products into manufacturing process - Tracks key performance metrics. Develops, implements, and maintains quality requirements and processes - Representation of department in governance and management structures, governance bodies and project teams as required - Line management within her/his department, to create an open, healthy, diverse, and inclusive working environment - Ensures departmental activities are delivered in compliance, with high quality and EHS&S requirements **Qualifications** - MSc or bachelor’s degree in life sciences with 10-12 years of relevant experience in CMC development, manufacturing of pharmaceutical products - Knowledge and experience of cGMP manufacturing of CTM and/or commercial products in Drug Substance and Drug Product area including pilot scale and technology transfer - Experience with leading teams is highly preferred (> 5 years) - Advanced knowledge of goal setting, leadership, problem solving, communication, mentoring and coaching techniques - Knowledge and interpretation/implementation ability of cGMP and current Regulatory Compliance Guidelines - Fluency in English and German highly preferred - Achieves goals by building bridges between and across people, stakeholders, departments, and sites - Able to lead, manage, and achieve goals through influence rather than power - Clear and goal-oriented communication skills to all levels and layers within teams and the overall organization **Primary Location** Switzerland-Berne-Bern - **Organization** Janssen Vaccines AG (8851) **Job Function** Operations **Requisition ID** 2206027131W
