Global Patient Journey Manager

**The Position**

As Global Patient Journey Manager of Rare Disease, you will be responsible to develop and execute global medical activities to simplify and improve the diagnostic rate, related to our rare renal asset. You will gain a deep understanding of the patients’ and physicians’ needs to enhance Novo Nordisk’s capabilities to co-create meaningful solutions. Leveraging your expertise in patient diagnostic and problem solving, you will work with external partners to uncover all potential opportunities and remove roadblocks, to accelerate the patient journey from symptoms to diagnosis. Finally, you will share best practices among Novo Nordisk affiliates and connect hospitals/Regions to promote best in class initiatives to improve patients’ outcomes.

Working within a dynamic, growing environment you will collaborate with our central, cross-functional team and with local medical team of rare renal disease. You will develop a professional relationship with a new network of Opinion Leaders around the world, establishing a new patient journey for paediatric and adult patients with recurrent kidney stones.

**Qualifications**

You have strong medical and scientific qualification as an MD, PharmD, PhD and preferably with a post-graduate medical qualification in Nephrology, Urology, Paediatrics or Genetics. Since then, you have worked within a Biotech or Rare Disease organisation, gaining medical experience and direct knowledge of diagnostic pathways in Renal, Urology or Rare Genetic diseases.

You describe yourself as curious, resilient and results oriented, bringing outstanding problem-solving capability, strong analytical skills, and ability to leverage innovative methodologies and tools. In addition, you are a confident communicator and presenter.
