**Your role**
- Interested in working in finance, specifically as a wealth management professional serving clients, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint that consistently ranks among the world's top financial institutions? Are you passionate about mixing technology to derive business value and excited by the prospect of helping to drive and deliver change that will positively impact the way every research analyst works in the GWM Chief Investment Office (CIO)?

We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Global Wealth Management business.

You’ll get to:

- support the delivery of solutions that improve the productivity and effectiveness of analysts' community within CIO
- support building a modern cloud-based data platform
- generate insights and models based on transactional and behavioral data
- collaborate with different teams on strategic projects with a goal of improving our client experience and driving engagement
- build an understanding of our industry, culture, and strategy, while learning about how we operate to effectively meet the needs of our clients
- develop professionally by establishing a network of mentors and business contacts we believe are some of the best in the business
- attend educational events led by senior leaders that provide extensive exposure and insight into the business

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in our Global Wealth Management team in Zürich. We provide advice-based solutions to deliver products and services designed to address the needs of ultra-high net worth and high-net worth individuals and families. We’ve successfully built the number one wealth management franchise in the world. You’ll work with the best talent in the industry, as we help manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients.

You will be part of the CIO Data Analytics team in Chief Investment Office (CIO) in our Zurich location. Our Data team is at the heart of CIO to manage and support data science efforts across different business areas. It is a global team based in Switzerland. At the heart of this project is the ability to systematically analyze and build models supporting business to make data driven decisions. Our focus is always the client

**Your expertise**
- has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in an analytical field e.g. Statistics, Physics, Finance, IT, Engineering)
- has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, propensity to move from prototyping to concrete implementation avoiding “analysis paralysis”
- has hands on experience with one or more programming languages (i.e. Python, R, NodeJs), Python is a must
- has hands on experience with data science libraries like scikit, pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow
- is experienced with scripting languages (bash, etc.)
- has an understanding of a broad range of platforms and technologies (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, AirFlow)
- has an understanding of Agile Development's best practices
- has high level of curiosity and awareness of emerging technologies, particularly in large language models like ChatGPT
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Start Date: May or June 2025

**Your program**
- This paid internship will last 6-12 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
