**Finance and Payroll accountant**:
**Role & Function**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Participate actively in the preparation and review of the payroll runs in coordination with the HR team. Communicate all accounting inputs needed- Provide complete payroll accounting. Maintain the calculation of vacation, bonus, and other payroll-related accruals- Process all payroll-related invoices, ensure their accurate booking and timely payment Manage employee database in SAP Concur to reflect the completeness and accuracy of all HR-related changes (employee in/out, cost center, line manager, etc.)- Manage employee database in SAP Concur to reflect the completeness and accuracy of all HR-related changes (employee in/out, cost center, line manager, etc.)- Together with the accounting team, check, verify and ensure compliant accurate processing of travel expense reports- Prepare monthly profit and loss & balance sheet reconciliations of all payroll-related accounts- Maintain the internal payroll accounting tools up to date (for i.e. and not limited to - list of headcounts by cost center)- Ensure clear and proactive communication with stakeholders- Together with the accounting team ensure complete and accurate accounting, including accruals, prepayments and monthly closing entries. Participate actively in all current day-to-day general accounting activities- Identify and propose improvement initiatives to optimize the payroll accounting processes- Participate in or drive finance processes or finance systems improvement projects- Assist in updating and enforcing ICS processes- Assist in the preparation of financial audits for all matters under the scope**Qualifications**
- Proven experience working with payroll- At least 5-7 years of relevant working experience within international groups of companies- Exposure within Pharma, Life Science, Biotech industries would be a plus- Exposure to ERP and involvement in accounting projects (systems implementation, migration, etc.)- Exposure to SAP Concur would be a plus**Personal attributes**
